Who we are
Flaunt is a mobile application for tradespeople and trade businesses, operated by Gavin Piggot, based in the United Kingdom. Our website is useflaunt.com.
What data we collect
We collect the following personal data:
Email address and name, provided when you sign in via Apple or Google
Business information you enter during onboarding, including your business name, trade type, location, tagline, brand colours, and logo
Photos you upload when creating posts within the app
Job descriptions and customer review text you provide when generating content
Subscription and purchase information processed via RevenueCat
Device session tokens, stored securely on your device
How we use your data
We use your data to:
Operate and deliver the Flaunt app and its features
Generate AI-written captions and post copy using the information you provide
Process and manage your subscription
Send you updates about Flaunt, including launch notifications if you have joined our waitlist
Improve and maintain the app
Third-party services
Flaunt uses the following third-party services, each of which has its own privacy policy:
Supabase — database and authentication (supabase.com)
Cloudinary — image upload and processing (cloudinary.com)
OpenAI — AI caption and copy generation. Your business name, trade, tagline, job descriptions, and review text may be included in prompts sent to OpenAI (openai.com)
RevenueCat — subscription and purchase management (revenuecat.com)
Apple / Google — sign-in authentication
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored securely using Supabase. Session tokens are stored in your device's secure storage. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data, but no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.
Data retention
We retain your personal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing contact@useflaunt.com.
Your rights
Depending on where you are located, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data.
UK and EEA users (UK GDPR / GDPR) You have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data, restrict or object to how we process it, and lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. In the UK this is the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
California users (CCPA) If you are a California resident you have the right to know what personal data we collect and how it is used, request deletion of your data, and opt out of the sale of your personal data. We do not sell personal data.
All users Regardless of your location you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing contact@useflaunt.com. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe.

Our website may use cookies to support basic functionality. You can control cookie settings through your browser.
Children
Flaunt is not intended for use by anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
